Abstract

The research seeks to identify the conception of nurses on Nursing Assistance Systematization (NAS) while instrument of working organization and qualification of the attendance in the Health of the Family; to identify the pointed difficulties for the effectuation of the Nursing Assistance Systematization in Health of the Family. It is a qualitative research of exploratory type that had as subjects the nurses of Family’s Health Units in the city of Mossoró. Results showed that in order to operate NAS as a tool for valuing nursing on health services, it is necessary to overcome changing of paradigms of thinking, being and acting that still permeate nursing. We concluded that it is indispensable to articulate strategies and tools that allow a pattern for a differentiated, dynamic and scientific assistance, committed to the principles of the Unified Health System, with the visibility of knowing/making of nursing and professional autonomy.
