Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, in the About the Journal page.
  • Submissions with more than one author meet the criteria for co-authorship adopted by the journal and a supplementary document is being sent attached attesting to compliance with the criteria according to the journal's template. This supplementary document is with the option "Make available to Evaluators” unchecked.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor".
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice format and in case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (e.g. articles), the instructions available under Ensuring blind peer review were followed.
  • The text is spaced 1.5"; uses a 12-point font; uses italics instead of underline (except in URL addresses); figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of attachments. URLs for references have been informed when possible.
