Abstract

The crisis of ethics is analyzed based on the discussion of central issues in Scheler's phenomenology. It is not a matter of revisiting the above theme and recomposing its arguments as elements already present in the thinker's material and phenomenological ethics, but rather of putting this phenomenology at the service of elucidating and understanding the radical meaning of the crisis. In this sense, reference is made to the radical nature of the current crisis, considering it as a historical movement of modernity, whereby the axiological hierarchy is inverted on the basis of the experiential structure of modern man and the original relationships between values are distorted, promoting a subversion of the ethos. To this end, we highlight the illusions in the affective perception of values as signs that refer back to the core of the current ethos and its current dissolution.

Daniel Rodrigues Ramos, Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT)

Graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (1994), graduação em Filosofia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (2000), mestrado em Filosofia pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (2009) e doutorado em Filosofia pela Pontificia Università Antonianum (2013). Atualmente, é professor efetivo no curso de Filosofia da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) e desenvolve pesquisas na área de fenomenologia, em especial, em Husserl, Scheler e Heidegger. Publicou A questão do Ereignis em Heidegger, obra que divulga os resultados da pesquisa doutoral no pensamento tardio de Heiddeger, um dos primeiros estudos publicados no Brasil em torno dos Beiträge zur Philosophie e de outras obras correlatas pertencentes ao ciclo de obras heideggerianas em que se expõe o pensamento da história do ser.
