The imperialist origins of fascism, yesterday and today

This article aims to reveal the imperialist origins of fascism at the beginning of the 20th century, as well as some explanations about its continued presence in the neo-fascism of the 21st century. To this end, I consider it relevant to carry out this analysis through a conceptual investigation. For this reason, I will first explain what I understand by imperialism and then what I understand by fascism. Thus, having clarified the terms to be used, by way of conclusion, I will try to expose the imperialist origins present in fascism at its birth and then make some comments on how it continues to be present in contemporary manifestations designated as neo-fascist. The methodology employed in the development of this research follows the tradition of scientific socialism or the philosophical conception known as Marxism.
