This article examines the current neoliberal education model in Brazil and its impact on the teaching of philosophy and the formation of the new generations. To this end, the discussion focuses on the commodification of education promoted by neoliberal logic and the detrimental effects of this approach on the teaching of philosophy. In contrast to this neoliberal model of education, the text explores possible ways to address the interference of capital in education and promote a democratic and emancipatory education that considers training, teaching, and the educational act from an ethical, political, and social plurality.
