Abstract

In humanized assistance, we have to consider that the professional needs to be perceived in the relation with the person whom he takes care of. In this study, we aimed at evaluating, together with Nursing students, their personal necessities that would contribute to self-consciousness. It is a descriptive study that was carried out among students who were studying Nursing in Mental Health I and II. The researched group was composed of 92 students, from 19 to 25 years old, with no personal income. The analysis of facts suggests that we need to work together with students as a means to stimulate self-reflection.
