The data were collected through an interview within the period of two months in the year of 2007, consisting of two parts: identifi cation of the puerpera and a subject guide: "What’s your opinion concerning the way the health professionals welcome the patients in this maternity hospital?" It was noticed that there was satisfaction with the way the health professionals welcomed the women as well as concerning the procedures they used in the patients. It was observed, however, that a companion’s lack in the rooming-in negative point was considered by the puerpera. It is concluded that the personal interactions are essential to aid professionals and customers to run through the experience of the welcoming at the hospital level.
